CALDA Clinic is a one-of-a-kind treatment clinic near Zurich specialising in intense therapeutic intervention for patients that require personalised treatment, total security and discretion. We treat the complete psychiatric spectrum, including trauma, addiction, depression, bipolar and eating disorders.
Patients stay in one of CALDA Clinic’s private residences and will experience the same level of service and comfort within our care as can be expected at home. CALDA Clinic provides complete protection from the outside world, for treatment in total privacy.

We dedicate our collective expertise exclusively to only one client at a time. Wherever possible, we work without the use of psychiatric drugs.
The CALDA Concept was founded in 2007 and holds a ‘European Award in Medicine’. Founder Dr. Claudia M. Elsig specialises in psycho-traumatology and draws on over 30 years of experience in psychiatric and psychotherapeutic medicine. The residence has a team of accomplished specialists in place to support every aspect of psychological and physical support around the clock.

For long-term success, CALDA Concept goes into much deeper patient analysis, because an accurate diagnosis results in precision treatment.
A full team of medical professionals study every element of a patient’s physical and mental health to uncover any hidden disorders. Our specialists provide immediate, intensive 24-hour personalised psychiatric, psychological, rehabilitation and holistic therapeutic treatment, as well as ongoing support after the initial stay.
A safe place
CALDA Clinic is a safe place, a change-maker; with all the elevated comforts of home and completely isolated from triggers that may adversely affect mental health.
Patients may be arriving in a state of emergency, where immediate treatment and intervention is required. We will meet the patient and their entourages at Zurich’s international airport to discreetly chaperone them to a private residence on Zurich lake. We can also collect patients from home, on request.
Family members may stay nearby in one of our partner luxury hotels. A section of the hotel may be reserved for their exclusive use for the duration of the treatment.
