Nomsa Looser is a Live-in Personal Coach at the CALDA Clinic.

She started her private practice in Zurich and has worked with local and international clients, focusing on reviving life after trauma, rebuilding relationships between couples, family interventions, assisting people work through shame from abuse and substance addictions. Nomsa has Systematic family counselling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as mindful training and uses these approaches to assist her clients with Personal growth and development in whatever situation they find themselves in. Her core strengths are problem solving and character development.

She is a Psychology with Counselling graduate and has several accreditations across various boards, namely the British Psychology Society (BPS), The American Board of Sexology (ABS) and is a member of the British Professional Body for Psychosexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT).

Prior to working in her private practice, she worked with women in prison environments and female psychiatry clinics in South Africa. During this time, Nomsa found the importance of how crucial forming a strong secure attachments between mother and child is. She worked with women under the influence of substance abuse, women affected by domestic violence and women with codependency issues, and sexual trauma.

Nomsa is also currently affiliated with various schools in Switzerland offering workshops on ways to deal with peer pressure that would lead to substance abuse as well as the aftermath of said substance abuse. She strongly believes in educating teenagers before the problem begins.

In her spare time, she offers talks at global women’s conferences and hosts events.
