Dr Daniel Herschkowitz, MD, is an accomplished anaesthetist and pain specialist. He holds multiple qualifications, including certifications in emergency care and interventional pain treatment. He is also a pain specialist accredited by the Swiss Pain Society. Dr Herschkowitz has an Executive Master’s in Business Law from the University of St Gallen, an Executive Master’s in Management Law for Managers, and an Executive Master’s in International Management from the University of Applied Sciences, Berne. He is completing an MSc in Clinical Psychology at Metropolitan University London.

Dr Herschkowitz has served in senior medical roles at Kantonsspital Luzern, University Hospital Berne, and other institutions. His experience includes working as a senior physician at Regionalspital Burgdorf and chief resident physician at Salemspital Berne. He has consulted in anaesthesia and managed pain practices in Basel, Solothurn, Zürich, and Berne.

His emergency medical experience spans over 15 years with Berne Ambulance Services and helicopter rescue operations with REGA. He has held leadership roles in the Swiss Air Force Search and Rescue and the Military Police Special Operations Group, managing medical services at large events and collaborating with federal agencies.

Dr Herschkowitz specialises in advanced pain treatments, including addiction detoxification under anaesthesia and ketamine-assisted therapies. He is a pioneer in neurostimulation and neuromodulation for complex pain syndromes and was the first president of the Swiss Association of Tactical Medicine.
